Meet the New Business That Will Be Featured In Our 2020 Commercial!
The Design District Association is thrilled to announce the winner of our Commercial Contest for 2020! Congratulations to GastroPark, a new food truck park set to open soon just off of New Park Avenue. GastroPark will be featured in the Design District’s upcoming social media marketing campaign that is being created to bring more awareness to the association’s diverse, up and coming corner of West Hartford.
When asked why GastroPark chose the Design District to open for business, co-owner Tate Norden said, “GastroPark selected New Park Ave because we believe that’s where the entrepreneurial spirit can thrive. Our mission has always been to let food unite, empower, grow, and celebrate our local community. We are excited to be part of a neighborhood where all can eat, play, shop, design, build, and pursue their small business dreams.”
The Design District launched the commercial campaign in early May as the impact of COVID-19 began hitting local businesses. Knowing that the pandemic will be tough on all the local economy, the Association decided to launch a contest to give a new business exposure through a multi-layer media campaign. The new commercial which is set to shoot this month showcases all the excitement and diversity that the Design District has to offer and will be featured on social media, YouTube, and through various local media channels.
“The Design District is all about creating a community of small business owners that choose to call our neighborhood home,” said Design District President Dave Chmielewski. “We’re thrilled to help the GastroPark get the word out about their concept and we’re excited to bring Tate and his team into our collective group of seasoned entrepreneurs. We are thrilled to see this idea come to life and look forward to doing everything we can to support this new, exciting business.”
